Emanuel and her custodians Robert & Jan are pleased to give talks about Emanuel - the restoration, subsequent use and previous history and, when opportune, receive interested people aboard.  Thus we make Emanuel accessible to people who would otherwise never have an opportunity to hear about or visit such a craft - all a part of custodianship responsibility.

We have given talks / presentations to a diverse range of organisations including a model making club, who were more interested in the technical aspects, to the Women’s Institute whose interests were more homely focused.  We have even given a presentation to the local RNLI !!!

As serious custodians of an item of our nations maritime heritage it behoves us to make Emanuel accessible in whatever way we can.  It takes a lot of physical effort and considerable personal expertise to maintain Emanuel in near showroom condition.  The joy of ownership!  ‘Pristine’ it says on the current survey report.  She is though a serious hobby of ours. We have had custody of Emanuel since early 1980,  thus making us the longest proudest owners by far!

        Robert and Jan Holden.
